I’ve officially scheduled my breast augmentation with Dr. Brooks, I’m really looking forward to surgery — one question I forgot to ask during my initial consultation was: How much will my new breast implants weigh? The implants I chose are 450 cc’s each.
How Much Extra Weight Can I Expect To Gain Once I Get My New Breast Implants?
As you already know, breast implants are measured in cc’s. Generally the number of cc’s is equivalent to the weight of the breast implant in grams.
Think of it this way: A 250 cc breast implant weighs 250 grams and a 300 cc breast implant weighs 300 grams. Your 450 cc breast implants weigh 450 grams each.
450 grams = 1 pound.
You are going to have two 450 cc breast implants so your total weight gain will be 2 pounds.
Will I Notice The Extra Breast Implant Weight On My Neck and Shoulders?
Your breast implants will feel totally natural, we’ve never had a patient complain about neck, back or shoulder pain after breast implant surgery. Your new implants will look natural and the weight gain will feel natural as well.
